Originally rolled out to just 4 areas, as my colleague, Martin, reported in this article, it has just been announced by the Chancellor that the scheme will be extended nationwide by the end of this month!
The Gigabit Voucher Scheme offers businesses and individuals the chance to apply for vouchers worth up to £3,000 for businesses and £500 for residential to support the cost of getting new gigabit capability.
This is intended to help support the government's commitment to make gigabit capability a reality to millions of businesses and homes by 2022.
With £67 Million in the pot make sure you get your £3,000 before it runs out!

On 15th March 2018, we announced that we will be extending the scheme across the whole of the UK. We plan to launch the national scheme by the end of March 2018 – please check back here for updates. The availability of the scheme in your area will rely on broadband suppliers, so if you are interested in benefiting from the scheme you may wish to contact your existing supplier and encourage them to take part.
