Back in July 2019, Ofcom released new regulations making it easier to change your mobile contract to a different network. It is now set to be even easier as the provision of locked mobile handsets will be banned as of December 2021. O2 already only sells unlocked handsets but this new regulation will see the other networks follow suit.
