The Broadband Delivery UK (BDUK) scheme has seen a return of £12.28 for every £1 spent on rolling out Superfast broadband. Businesses that have invested in a higher speed connection had had a £9 billion increase in turnover, which has resulted in a £690 million net increase in gross value for the UK economy.
